The 2,800 sq. ft. art gallery is filled with a diversified collection of original oil paintings, watercolors and limited edition prints. Your choices are not limited to what we have in the gallery. Kelly's works with many artists and we can have additional artwork brought into the gallery or commissioned.
All of our custom picture framing work is done on site by Kelly. We use archival materials to insure
that your work is properly preserved. The gallery has over 1,500 traditional, Italian & contemporary
frame samples to choose from. Kelly is here to provide you with expert advice that will help

What makes the 3-dimensional photography uniquely different is that all photographs are hand-cut and layered to create a technique described as "photo-relief." The images are digitally printed two to three times. Then the photographs are hand-cut with an exacto-blade, assembled, layered, and glued back together again to create depth and perspective.

Proprietor Kelly Hutchinson was born & raised in Rochester, N.Y. She graduated from Buffalo State with her B.F.A. in Graphic Design. While in college, Kelly extensively studied fiber service design & the craft of hand building clay vessels. She started selling her artwork to galleries while attending college and in 2005 opened Kelly’s Art & Frame located in Old Town Alexandria. In 2008 Kelly became a vendor on Sundays at the Eastern Market.
Since moving to Virginia in 1999 Kelly has taken several etching and monotype print classes & workshops at the Torpedo factory but her current body of work primarily consists of contemporary acrylic & oil paintings. Her body of work includes abstract, stylized trees, landscapes/skyscapes and floral paintings. The sizes range from 5” x 5” to 40” x 64”.
Galleries, corporate and private clients throughout the United States and Canada collect her work. Georgia O’Keefe, Wolf Kahn and Mark Rothko inspire Kelly’s artwork.
